Our material is a woven canvas, but the threads from which it is woven are polyester. The purpose of this cover is threefold. One is to cover and protect your investment. Our canoe/kayak covers are engineered to protect against water, the sun, tree residue (sap and leaves and stains), etc. Our covers can be used and secured in multiple ways, based on your specific circumstances. They come with a hidden bungee style cord in the hem, for a quick on and off cover. Now, if you want to kick it up a notch, in the front, this hidden bungee style cord has an adjustor, so you can customize the fit. They also have built in straps.
